Reward of the Mists of Pandaria Challenge Modes, which left the game with patch 6.0.2 (14 October 2014). Kai Featherfall in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms sold it for one Ancestral Phoenix Egg, the reward of the achievement Challenge Conqueror: Silver; that is the journal's 'Vendor: World Vendors, Cost: 1'. The wiki's note for patch 6.0.2 reads 'Now account-wide. Can no longer be purchased', and it lists the mount as removed from the retail game. It is one of the four Challenge Mode phoenixes (Ashen, Crimson, Emerald, Violet), and this guide's records for the other three (503, 519, 520) are stubs for the same reason. It is on sale again only in Mists of Pandaria Classic (50 Platinum Coins), which is a different game. No return to the retail game was looked for beyond the wiki page; the record for the Crimson one (503) searched the web on 2026-10-11 and found none.
