How to get it

Sold as the Bridle of the Ironbound Wraithcharger by Auzin in Runeweaver Square, Dalaran (Northrend), for 5,000 Timewarped Badges. He is only there while Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking is the active event.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Before you go

  • 5,000 Timewarped Badges, earned in any Timewalking event: 10 per dungeon boss, 20 for the last boss and 10 for finishing, 20 per Timewalking raid boss and 50 for the last, plus 500 from the event's own weekly quest (range 3-20 hours, depending on how many characters hand that quest in) · about 12 h

In all: about 12 h of play, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Auzin, Runeweaver Square
Dalaran · 51, 47.6
/way Dalaran 51 47.6
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 0.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Crystalsong Forest*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 0.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Crystalsong Forest*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The journal's cost of 5,000 is Timewarped Badges (wiki, on the mount's page and in Auzin's list of wares, where it is his only mount). Auzin is in the Dalaran above Crystalsong Forest in Northrend, not the one over the Broken Isles, and Method says the Timewalking vendors only appear during their own event's week.

Badges are a currency the wiki labels Warband Transferrable and they are earned in every Timewalking event, so they can be saved up in other weeks and spent when the Wrath of the Lich King week comes round. The wiki lists the 500-badge quests as weekly and does not say whether each is once per character or per account.

The wiki has Auzin in front of the central fountain and gives no coordinates; the ones here are Method's (written 2026: 51.0, 47.6), the same spot used for the Enchanted Spellweave Carpet. Auzin came with the mount in patch 6.2.2.

Two items teach the mount. The Bridle of the Ironbound Wraithcharger (129922) is the one the wiki names, and Wowhead's tooltip for it reads 'Vendor: Auzin, Zone: Dalaran, Cost: 5000'. Wowhead's tooltip files the other item (129744) under the same vendor and price; what that second item is was not looked into.

The item binds when picked up and needs Apprentice Riding (Wowhead tooltip); the wiki's infobox says level 30. The mount flies and changes with riding skill and location. A Spectral Bridle found in Torghast gives a short-lived look-alike, not this mount (wiki). Of Wowhead, only the tooltips were read.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
