Reward of the feat of strength Boldly, You Sought the Power of Ragnaros: defeating Ragnaros in the 40-player Molten Core of the Raid Finder that was only open during WoW's 10th Anniversary in late 2014. That raid has not been offered since. The item, Core Hound Chain, was sold once more during WoW's 20th Anniversary (22 October 2024 to 6 January 2025) by Storekeeper Reginald outside the Caverns of Time in Tanaris for 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens. He does not come every year: Wowhead's guide to the Anniversary event (updated 18 November 2025) says he was not there for the 2025 event, that Bronze Celebration Tokens were no longer given, and that by his own dialogue he is 'slated to come back by the 25th Anniversary celebration in 2029'; the wiki marks him as 'exclusively part of WoW's 20th Anniversary' and removed. So there is nothing to earn it from now, and the record should be looked at again when the 2029 event is announced. Wowhead's sold-by list for the item (read 2026-10-11) still has him, now at 200 Timewarped Badges, which is the game's data for a vendor who is not in the world. Wowhead and the wiki also note the chain on the Black Market (since patch 6.2.0), a mention only: that is buying, not earning.
Looked up in 2026.
