Sold by Necrolord Sipe, the Combatant Mount Quartermaster in Old Town, Stormwind City, for 1 Vicious Saddle. A saddle is earned in rated PvP: wins at 1,000 rating or more fill the Season Rewards bar; the first full bar of a season gives that season's own vicious mount, and every further full bar in the same season gives a Vicious Saddle.

Notes and sources
The journal's 'Cost: 1' is one Vicious Saddle: the wiki's page for the mount (edited 2026) says it 'can be purchased for 1 [Vicious Saddle] from Alliance Necrolord Sipe in Stormwind City' and marks it Alliance only.
Saddles can only be earned while a rated PvP season is running; Midnight Season 2 began 18 August 2026 and was running in October 2026. The saddle binds when picked up and the vendor is an Alliance one, so the bar has to be filled on an Alliance character. The mount item binds to the Warband (Wowhead tooltip, wiki).
Everything about earning the saddle, the vendor's place and the hours is taken over from the notes for the Vicious White Warsaber, which drew on the wiki's pages for the saddle, the vendor and Midnight Season 2 and on wow.gg's guide for this very mount; none of it was looked up again. The coordinates are the same as there: the wiki's 76.8, 65.6 (Wowhead's tooltip for the vendor had 76.8, 65.4 and 76.8, 65.6).
The wiki's page does not say which season first gave this mount, nor whether learning it also teaches the Horde's Vicious War Wolf; neither was established.
Added in patch 6.0.2; learned account-wide since patch 7.2.0; level 17 and Apprentice Riding since patch 9.0.1 (wiki). Wowhead's page for this mount was not read beyond its item tooltip.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
