Sold by Kil'rip, the Laughing Skull quartermaster in the Trading Post of a Horde garrison, for 5,000 gold and 5,000 Apexis Crystals, at Exalted with the Laughing Skull Orcs. He is only there once the Trading Post is level 2, and the reputation comes from kills on the upper tiers of The Pit and in the Everbloom Wilds, both in Gorgrond.

line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Kil'rip sells the mount for 5,000 gold and 5,000 Apexis Crystals (currency 823) by Wowhead's sold-by list; the wiki agrees. The journal shows the second cost only as a number.
Wowhead's tooltip has Kil'rip (creature 86698) at two spots in Frostwall, one for each medium plot: around 51.4, 60.4 and around 58.5, 26.4. Put on the Frostfire Ridge zone map with the game's map tables, they are 48.8, 67.3 and 49.6, 63.4.
The mount is Horde only; the Alliance's Trading Post has the Sha'tari Defense and the Armored Irontusk on the same terms. A well-rated 2014 Wowhead comment says buying this mount also puts the Armored Irontusk in the collection for Alliance characters, and the other way round; not checked.
Wowhead's guide (updated 2021) names The Pit and the Everbloom Wilds for the reputation and gives no rate. Its comments are the only figures:
- the best-rated one (2017) says only the orcs along the upper areas of The Pit count, not the ones fighting at the bottom, that an elite there pays 4 to 5 times a creature of the Everbloom Wilds, and that the few rares pay 75
- one of 2020 has plain creatures at 6, elites at 19 to 20 and rares at 60 with a level 3 Trading Post
- one of 2026 starts the round at 49.07, 32.89 in Gorgrond and lists the creatures: Hulking Brute, Gruesome Torturer, Iron Cauterizer, Iron Laborer, Iron Bulwark, Iron Deadshot, Iron Enforcer, Iron Bloodburner
Comments of 2024 say no reputation at all comes without the level 2 Trading Post; a few older ones (2020, 2021) report getting none at The Pit without saying whether they had the building. The amount per kill fell with the character's level in Battle for Azeroth (2018 comment); what a level 90 character gets today was not established.
Other sources of the reputation, by Wowhead's guide: a Medallion of the Legion gives 1,000, and during the Warlords of Draenor dungeon event the dungeons' creatures give 20 and their bosses 400, both without the building.
A level 3 Trading Post adds 20% to reputation earned in Draenor (wiki), but it opens with Exalted with one Draenor faction (Savage Friends), so it does not help the first one; a 2021 comment says the bonus no longer applied to this faction. Exalted also brings the achievement behind the title the Masked Chuckler (Wowhead's guide).
The levels asked today for the garrison, its tiers and the level 2 blueprint were not established. The item asks for level 17 and Apprentice Riding since patch 9.0.2 (wiki).
