The Brill he is known to trade in is the one of the past: speak with Zidormi in Tirisfal Glades to see the zone as it was before the Battle for Lordaeron.

Zachariah Post stands in more than one version of the world, and the sources do not settle where. The place given above is the old Brill reached through Zidormi, as for the Red Skeletal Horse, because dated reports on his Wowhead page support it: a trade in 2023 and a 2026 reply that Zidormi was what worked in Midnight. A character for whom the past Brill does not show him should look next in:

• the present-day Brill
• the tent in the Ruins of Lordaeron
• the top of the Gates of Orgrimmar

Wowhead's sold-by list, as read for the Red Skeletal Horse, has three of him: the old one in Tirisfal Glades (creature 4731), one in Orgrimmar (creature 141691) and one in the Tirisfal Glades of patch 9.2.5 (creature 186016, at 80 silver, the price less an Exalted buyer's discount).

wow.gg does not agree with itself. Its guide for this mount (updated 2026) says he 'returned to his historic spot in the village of Brill', by the pen with the bone horses at 59.3, 51.1, calls the Gates of Orgrimmar outdated and never mentions Zidormi; its guide for the red horse, of the same date, sends the buyer to a tent in the Ruins of Lordaeron (65.9, 67.6).

The journal leaves out the reputation and the timeline. These notes follow the Red Skeletal Horse's, which were written the same day from Wowhead's sold-by list, the wiki and wow.gg: the same vendor, the same price, the same two requirements. For this mount only the wiki's page (1 gold from Zachariah Post in Brill, Horde only, binds when picked up, level 10) and wow.gg's guide were read; Wowhead's page for the item was not opened.

The mount is account-wide once learned, so any Forsaken on the account can buy it for 1 gold and skip the reputation. wow.gg names quests in Tirisfal Glades and Silverpine Forest as the fastest reputation and also lists Duskwood, which is an Alliance zone and looks like a mistake. He also sells the Black, Red and Brown Skeletal Horses at 1 gold and three Skeletal Warhorses at 10 gold, so the one reputation opens all seven.
