How to get it

Reward of the achievement Free For All, More For Me: complete each of the four Legion free-for-all PvP world quests 20 times, 80 completions in all. They are Operation Murloc Freedom in Azsuna, Black Rook Rumble in Val'sharah, Darkbrul Arena in Highmountain and Bareback Brawl in Stormheim. Only one of the four is up at a time, changing about every six hours. Progress is shared by every character on the account, and each character can complete the quest that is up once. An Alliance character receives this mount, a Horde character the Prestigious War Wolf.

Before you go

The 80 completions, 20 of each quest: kill the creatures or the enemy players in the quest area until the bar fills, under five minutes when the area is quiet, plus the flight there · about 10 h over 3 weeks

In all: about 10 h of play, spread over 3 weeks, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Krasus' Landing, Dalaran (hub: the quest that is up is in Azsuna, Val'sharah, Highmountain or Stormheim)

Dalaran · 69.8, 50.8

/way Dalaran 69.8 50.8

From Stormwind about 1.7 min of travel

Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Azsuna*
Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Which arena quest is up changes, so the place given above is the hub, not one of the four areas. The areas, from a 2024 Wowhead comment that a player reused in 2026:

Azsuna 37, 16: Timeworn Strand (counts for Mission Accomplished)
Val'sharah 38, 45: the arena at Black Rook Hold (Off the Top Rook)
Highmountain 51, 77: Darkbrul Arena (The Darkbrul-oh)
Stormheim 61, 27: Storm's Reach (Saddle Sore)

Credit per kill (wiki and Wowhead comments):

Bareback Brawl: 15% a player, 5% a beast
Black Rook Rumble: 10% a killing blow, 2% for being there when something dies; named creatures appear when nobody else is in the arena
Darkbrul Arena: 10% a drogbar or player
Operation Murloc Freedom: 5% a naga, 2% an enslaved murloc

Each completion also gives 500 Honor. A Legion invasion in the zone hides the quest until it ends.

Sources disagree on the schedule:

a 2017 comment: a fixed three-day rotation at 03:00, 09:00, 15:00 and 21:00 server time
a 2021 comment: logged two weeks and found it random
a 2024 comment (edited 2025): six-hour shifts from the daily reset, never the same quest twice running and at most twice a day

They also disagree on War Mode: wow.gg (2026) says the quests do not show without it; a 2022 forum post says they show either way and the area flags a character for PvP.

Progress has added up across characters since patch 11.0. In 2024 some who finished that way got the achievement without the mount, which a 2025 comment calls fixed, and later in 2025 one player found the mount in the bags a day later. The wiki says characters of the other faction get their own version once the achievement is done.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
