How to get it

Sold by Cupri on the Terrace of Light in Shattrath City for 5,000 Timewarped Badges. She is only there while Burning Crusade Timewalking is the active event.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Before you go

  • 5,000 Timewarped Badges, earned in any Timewalking event: 10 per dungeon boss, 20 for the last boss and 10 for finishing, 20 per Timewalking raid boss and 50 for the last, plus 500 from the event's own weekly quest (range 3-20 hours, depending on how many characters hand that quest in) · about 12 h

In all: about 12 h of play, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Cupri, Terrace of Light (upper floor, in the centre)
Shattrath City · 54.5, 39
/way Shattrath City 54.5 39
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 0.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Shattrath*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 0.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Shattrath*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The journal's cost of 5,000 is Timewarped Badges (wiki, both the vendor's page and the item's). The item is called Reins of the Eclipse Dragonhawk, was added with the vendor in patch 6.2.2 and asks for level 27 (wiki).

Badges are tagged as transferable within the Warband (wiki) and are earned in every Timewalking event, so they can be saved up in other weeks and spent when the Burning Crusade week comes round. The wiki does not say whether the 500-badge quest is once per character or per account; it ties Cupri to the quest The Swirling Vial.

Where she stands: Wowhead's tooltip for Cupri (NPC 98685) lists six spots between 54.4, 38.4 and 54.6, 39.6; the wiki gives no coordinates, only that she stands on the second floor in the centre of the Terrace of Light.

That she is absent outside the Burning Crusade week rests on the wiki's wording (she is found there "for the TBC version of the event"; the reins are sold "during The Burning Crusade timewalking weeks") and on this guide's other Timewalking mounts; how often that week comes round was not looked up. No Wowhead page was opened for this mount, only the tooltips.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
