Look it up on WowheadHow to get it
Sold by Lelanai, the saber handler in Bel'ameth under Amirdrassil, for 10 gold. Night elves buy it outright; every other Alliance race has to be Exalted with Darnassus first.
Time there about 2 min a visit
Before you go
- Exalted with Darnassus (night elves skip this): wear the Darnassus Tabard, 10 silver from Moon Priestess Lasara at the Terrace of the Moon in Bel'ameth, and clear dungeons · about 3 h
- 10 gold
In all: about 3 h of play, 10 gold, starting from nothing.
Getting there
/way Amirdrassil 51.4 65.8 - Take the portal from Stormwind to Bel'ameth*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The place given above is Lelanai in Bel'ameth (npc 216677, zone Amirdrassil, 51.4, 65.8 by Wowhead's tooltip; the wiki has 51.4, 66.0), where Wowhead's sold-by list has the reins at 10 gold. Bel'ameth was added in patch 10.2.5; the Alliance reaches it by the portal in Stormwind's Wizard's Sanctum, or by flying west out of the Ohn'ahran Plains (wiki, which names no quest for getting in).
She also stands in old Darnassus (npc 4730, Cenarion Enclave, 42.4-42.6, 32.4-32.8; the wiki has 42.8, 32.3), where the same list has 8 gold, which is 10 gold less the 20% Exalted discount. Darnassus only exists in the past: speak with Zidormi in Darkshore to see Teldrassil before it burned. Wowhead still lists Stormwind City for the old one and the wiki says she stood at the Stormwind Embassy after Teldrassil burned, but the wiki files her under removed Stormwind NPCs.
The reputation: the wiki says only night elves can buy from her unless Exalted with Darnassus, and old Wowhead comments say the same. No Wowhead comment on the item is newer than 2016. The wiki lists the tabard at 10 silver from Lasara in Darnassus (36.5, 48.5) and at the Terrace of the Moon (46.5, 70.6 on the Amirdrassil map). Which dungeons count for the tabard in the current patch was not checked.
wow.gg's guide to this mount (updated 2026) is not linked as a guide, for these reasons:
- it says Revered instead, while its guide to the Swift Stormsaber, sold by the same vendor, says Exalted
- it puts Moon Priestess Lasara at the Stormwind Embassy, where the wiki says she no longer is
- it asks for level 40 and Journeyman Riding, which the wiki says became level 17 and Apprentice Riding in patch 9.0.1
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
