The island is reached from the Faire staging grounds south of Goldshire in Elwynn Forest (Alliance) or south-west of Thunder Bluff in Mulgore (Horde), and it is a no-fly zone. The vendor's place is the wiki's 52.4, 88.4; wow.gg puts the vendor at 49.0, 70.8.
The fish keep between Faires (stack of 1,000), so the catch can be spread over several months. No recorded catch rate was found; the hours are one guide's estimate.
