How to get it

Sold as Trust of a Fierce Wolfhawk by Pan the Kind Hand, the stable master at Trueshot Lodge, the hunter class hall in Highmountain, for 1,000 Order Resources. She offers it to a hunter who already has the Huntmaster's Loyal Wolfhawk, the class mount from the quest Night of the Wilds.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Guide Wowhead: Obtaining Legion Class Mounts

Before you go

  • The Huntmaster's Loyal Wolfhawk first: the hunter class hall campaign, Breaching the Tomb once per account, then the two quests A Golden Ticket and Night of the Wilds from Deliverance Point · about 13.5 h over 3 days
  • 1,000 Order Resources (Legion class hall currency: looted from mobs and treasure chests on the Broken Isles and paid by class campaign quests) · about 0.5 h

In all: about 14 h of play, spread over 3 days, starting from nothing.

/way Trueshot Lodge 59 32.6
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 2.4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Azsuna*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 2.4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Azsuna*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Hunters only; the item asks for level 45 and Apprentice Riding (wiki) and binds when picked up. The journal files it under quests and names only the vendor. Wowhead's sold-by list (as read in 2026) has Pan the Kind Hand (npc 100661, Trueshot Lodge) alone, at 1,000 of currency 1220, Order Resources, and the wiki says the same. She sells the Huntmaster's Dire Wolfhawk on the same terms, so the two cost 2,000 Order Resources together.

The order of the steps before she offers it, and the coordinates, are those given for the Huntmaster's Dire Wolfhawk and were not looked up again: the middle of Wowhead's tooltip positions on the Trueshot Lodge map (58.4-59.6, 31.4-33.6), the wiki having 59, 32. The lodge is on Talon Peak in Highmountain; hunters fly in or take the flight path, and other classes are teleported out (wiki).

This is the green wolfhawk, once the Survival one: until patch 8.0.1 it also asked for every trait of the Survival artifact, Talonclaw, and for that specialization (Wowhead comments of 2017; wiki for the patch), which is where old advice about needing the right specialization comes from. A 2019 reply says she now sells it whatever the specialization.

How fast Order Resources come in today was not measured. Wowhead's guide Obtaining Legion Class Mounts (updated 2025) is listed on the item's page; it was read for the Huntmaster's Loyal Wolfhawk and Dire Wolfhawk and not opened again here.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
