Sold by Deathguard Netharian, the Combatant Mount Quartermaster in the Valley of Strength, Orgrimmar, for 1 Vicious Saddle. A saddle is earned in rated PvP: wins at 1,000 rating or more fill the Season Rewards bar; the first full bar of a season gives that season's own vicious mount, and every further full bar in the same season gives a Vicious Saddle.

Notes and sources
The journal's "Cost: 1" is one Vicious Saddle (wiki). The saddle binds when picked up (wiki), so it goes to the character that fills the bar, and the vendor and the mount item are Horde ones, so that has to be a Horde character; the mount item itself binds to the Warband (Wowhead tooltip). Coordinates are the wiki's; the wow.gg guide gives 42.0, 72.4.
Saddles can only be earned while a rated PvP season is running: Midnight Season 2 began on 18 August 2026 and the wiki lists no end date for it; its own mount is the Vicious Lightbloom Boar. The guide gives no win count for Solo Shuffle, and points per win were not found; the bar in the Rated tab of the PvP window shows the progress.
Added in patch 7.2.0 as a Legion season reward; asks for level 17 and Apprentice Riding (wiki).
