Drops from Nightbane, the hidden boss of Return to Karazhan on Mythic. He is summoned by touching all five Soul Fragments against a timer, then speaking to the Image of Medivh on the Master's Terrace.
Chance 20% once a week, so about 5 tries on average — Blizzard support article 65810 and the wiki, not a loot count: one mount per kill, with a 20% chance for each loot-eligible player in the party (100% at five); it goes to one player who lacks it

Getting there
/way Deadwind Pass 46.4 70.7 - Fly there
- Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Stranglethorn Vale*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The fragments only appear on Mythic (not a keystone run). The timer starts when the first door opens: 8 minutes to finish the Opera Hall and touch the first fragment (wiki); each fragment adds time, 5 minutes according to wow.gg. "The air grows slightly warmer" means the timer ran out.
The fragments, in order:
- the Opera Hall, after the event
- the guest chambers, before Maiden of Virtue
- behind Moroes in the Banquet Hall
- the spider area of the Servants' Quarters
- where The Curator dies
Opera, Moroes and The Curator must be killed; Maiden of Virtue need not be.
About five weekly kills are expected at 20%. The time on site is an estimate. The entrance coordinates come from the game's own instance-entrance table; Blizzard's article on the mount was only seen as a search summary.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
