How to get it

Reward of the rogue-only quest Hiding In Plain Sight, the second of two quests that Apothecary Keever starts at Deliverance Point on the Broken Shore with Dread Infiltrators. That quest leads to Lilian Voss in the Hall of Shadows under Dalaran, who sends the rogue to assassinate four disguised homunculi, one in each of four capital cities of the other faction: Silvermoon, the Undercity, Thunder Bluff and Orgrimmar for an Alliance rogue; the Exodar, Darnassus, Ironforge and Stormwind for a Horde one.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Guide Wowhead: Obtaining Legion Class Mounts

Before you go

  • Rogue class hall campaign, with mission-table waits, and then the Legionfall follower quest on this character (Champions of Legionfall, taken at Deliverance Point) · about 5 h over 2 days
  • Breaching the Tomb, once per account (the Legionfall campaign on the Broken Shore) · about 8 h over 1 days
  • The two quests: Dread Infiltrators (from Apothecary Keever to Lilian Voss in the Hall of Shadows, 19.4, 21.0) and Hiding In Plain Sight, four marks in four cities, then back to Lilian Voss. Some of the cities are only there in the past: an Alliance rogue reaches old Silvermoon through Zidormi in the Thalassian Pass (Eastern Plaguelands 53.8, 8.8) and the old Undercity through Zidormi in Tirisfal Glades (69.4, 62.8); a Horde rogue reaches Darnassus, and the Exodar by the portal on the western dock of Rut'theran Village, through Zidormi in Darkshore (48.4, 25.0) · about 2 h

In all: about 15 h of play, spread over 2 days, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Apothecary Keever, Deliverance Point (start of the chain)
Broken Shore · 45, 64.1
/way Broken Shore 45 64.1
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 2.1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Azsuna*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 2.1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Azsuna*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Rogues only; Hiding In Plain Sight asks for level 45 (Wowhead). The place given above is where the chain is picked up, as for the other class mounts: Apothecary Keever at Deliverance Point (wiki: 45.0, 64.1; a 2024 Wowhead comment has him next to the flight master). Dread Infiltrators follows Strike Them Down, the last Legionfall quest (wiki).

That comment is from a rogue alt whose account already had Breaching the Tomb: it still had to finish the class campaign and Champions of Legionfall on the rogue before Keever offered the quest. The wiki has Breaching the Tomb account-wide since patch 11.0.0, where the notes for the Huntmaster's Loyal Wolfhawk read patch 9.1.5.

The marks (wiki), for an Alliance rogue:

  • Tercin Shivenllher with his Arcane Demolisher, moved in patch 10.2.5 to the Shepherd's Gate outside old Silvermoon
  • Mistress Matilda on the terrace above the Rogues' Quarter of the Undercity
  • Kroksy the Impregnable on the High Rise of Thunder Bluff, whose armour comes off with a key picked from his pocket
  • Auctioneer Xifa in Orgrimmar's Valley of Strength

For a Horde rogue:

  • Ardaan the Solemn with his Crystalforged Demolisher in the Exodar
  • Taylenne Sweetsong at the Warrior's Terrace in Darnassus
  • Corin Twinbellows at the High Seat in Ironforge, armoured the same way
  • Auctioneer Jaxon in Stormwind's Trade District

These are the real cities, not a private copy (wiki: 'You are not placed in a different phase for this quest'). Their guards are at the current level cap while most of the marks stay near level 45 (comments), and commenters from 2023 to 2026 advise coming at the cap.

In Midnight (Wowhead comments of 2026): the rebuilt Silvermoon has no mark, and the Burning Crusade version of Eversong Woods is reached through Zidormi or, by one reply, through a portal in the Eastern Plaguelands beside the way into Eversong Woods; another reply puts that portal in the Western Plaguelands. A 2022 comment says Zidormi in Tirisfal Glades only shows once the opening quests of Battle for Azeroth are done.

Since patch 10.2.5 a Malfunctioning Crawler Mine on the ledge above Orgrimmar's auction house can be ridden in to blow up the mark there (comments of 2024 to 2026). For the Horde a 2026 comment ('As of Midnight') confirms the Darkshore route and says Ironforge and Stormwind are as they stand. During Legion Remix the four kills could be skipped; that ended in January 2026.

Guides: no current step-by-step guide was found; the comments on Wowhead's two quest pages, listed in the sources, are the nearest thing. Wowhead's Obtaining Legion Class Mounts (updated 2025) gives the requirements for every class but not the rogue's steps; it links Wowhead's 2017 preview of the rogue questline (news 261425), which was not opened. wow.gg's page for the Baneful Omen misnames the quests and the quest giver, and Warcraft Tavern's guide is for Legion Remix.

The three other colours of the mount are separate mounts sold by Zan Shivsproket in the Hall of Shadows once this one is earned (Wowhead's guide: 1,000 Order Resources each).

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
