Sold as Mephitic Reins of Dark Portent by Zan Shivsproket in the Hall of Shadows, the rogue class hall under Dalaran on the Broken Isles, for 1,000 Order Resources. He offers it to a rogue who already has the Shadowblade's Murderous Omen, the class mount from the quest Hiding In Plain Sight.
Time there about 2 min a visit
Before you go
- The Shadowblade's Murderous Omen first: the rogue class hall campaign and Champions of Legionfall on this character, Breaching the Tomb once per account, then Dread Infiltrators from Apothecary Keever at Deliverance Point on the Broken Shore and Hiding In Plain Sight, four marks in four capital cities of the other faction · about 15 h over 3 days
- 1,000 Order Resources (Legion class hall currency: looted from mobs and treasure chests on the Broken Isles and paid by class campaign quests) · about 0.5 h
In all: about 15.5 h of play, spread over 3 days, starting from nothing.
Getting there

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Rogues only. The journal gives the vendor and no cost: the wiki's page for the mount (edited 2025) has Zan Shivsproket in the Hall of Shadows at 1,000 Order Resources, with the Shadowblade's Murderous Omen to be earned first. Wowhead's sold-by list was not opened for this colour; for the Shadowblade's Lethal Omen it has him alone, at 1,000 of currency 1220, and he sells all three colours on the same terms, so the three together are 3,000 Order Resources.
No artifact trait or specialization is asked any more: until patch 8.0.1 the purchase wanted every trait of the Fangs of the Devourer (Subtlety) unlocked (wiki, patch notes on the mount's page). What the first mount takes is given for the Shadowblade's Murderous Omen.
Where he stands, as worked out for the Shadowblade's Crimson Omen and Lethal Omen and not looked up again: the hall's own map is called Dalaran in the game's map table, like the city above it, so the coordinates are his spot carried over to the city map (39.6, 68.9), the point of Dalaran he stands under. Only rogues get into the hall. Its ways in, by the wiki:
- Glorious Goods in the Eventide, the main one
- One More Glass
- Tanks for Everything in the Magus Commerce Exchange
How fast Order Resources come in today was not measured. The guide linked is Wowhead's for every class (updated 2025): it says the extra colours cost 1,000 Order Resources once the class mount is unlocked and does not walk through the rogue's quests. The item binds when picked up and asks for level 45 and Apprentice Riding (wiki); a flying mount, added in patch 7.2.0.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
