Notes and sources
Katie Stokx stands in Stormwind at 77.0, 67.8 by Wowhead's tooltip and the wiki (a comment gives 76.9, 68.0). A 2010 comment gives the way: into Old Town from the Trade District, right to the fountain, up the stairs to the right of it, through the arch and right, among the stables. She came to Stormwind in patch 4.0.3a.
Only humans can buy from her by default; other characters must be Exalted with Stormwind. That is the wiki's rule ('Only humans can buy from Katie by default'); its Stormwind faction page (edited 2026) says the same of all Stormwind horses, and a 2014 Wowhead reply reports 'Requires exalted with Stormwind'. No report from the current patch was found.
Since patch 10.2.5 the bridle is also one of the rewards of the quest Finding Your Way for human characters who started on Exile's Reach (wiki; Wowhead lists the quest, 58908, among the item's sources).
Wowhead's sold-by list has two vendors, Katie Stokx in Stormwind (npc 43694) and Unger Statforth in Menethil Harbor, Wetlands (npc 1460), both at 80 silver: the 1 gold of the journal and tooltip less the Exalted discount.
The bridle asks for level 10 and Apprentice Riding and binds when picked up; Wowhead's tooltip limits it to the Alliance's races.
Which dungeons count for the tabard in the current patch was not established; the wiki also names the Argent Tournament and the Molten Front's writs of commendation as sources of Stormwind reputation. No Wowhead guide to Stormwind reputation was found among the item's linked guides.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
