Notes and sources

Horde only: the Voldunai is a Horde reputation, the journal marks the mount Horde, and Wowhead's sold-by row shows Hoarder Jena as hostile to the Alliance. The reins ask for Voldunai - Exalted and bind when picked up (Wowhead's item page). The same vendor sells the Voldunai Dunescraper.

Two prices: 12,500 is what the vendor data lists and 10,000 what an Exalted character is charged; since only an Exalted character can buy, 10,000 is the figure used.

The time to Exalted is the weak figure: only the amounts were found, and Vol'dun has few world quests a day (a 2020 Wowhead comment counts five). Shimmering Shells come from Island Expeditions or for 100 Seafarer's Dubloons each (Wowhead's guide). In Battle for Azeroth Timewalking weeks Churbro in Dazar'alor sells the Commendation of the Voldunai, 300 reputation for 50 Timewarped Badges, bound to the Warband (wiki; added in patch 11.1.7). A 2024 Wowhead comment (rated +4) says vulpera characters start at Honored with the Voldunai; not checked.

A 2026 Blizzard Watch article lists the Voldunai among the Battle for Azeroth reputations that become shared by the Warband in patch 12.1.5, which it reports Blizzard has set for 13 October 2026, two days after these notes were checked; how standings on different characters will be merged had not been said. Until then Exalted is needed on the buying character.

The coordinates are the wiki's and Wowhead's guide's alike (56.6, 49.8). Wowhead's guide dates from 2020, so its level figures are from before the level squish. Added in patch 8.0.1 (wiki).
