How to get it

Chance item in the Dreamweaver Cache, the paragon cache of the Dreamweavers. Once Exalted, every further 10,000 reputation opens the quest Supplies From the Dreamweavers at Sylvia Hartshorn, the Dreamweaver emissary in Lorlathil, Val'sharah, which hands over one cache.

Chance 11.59% per try, so about 9 tries on average — Wowhead: 5,642 mounts in 48,694 recorded Dreamweaver Caches (read 2026-10-11 from the mount's item page), pooled over all years since patch 7.2

Guide Wowhead: Dreamweavers Reputation Guide

Before you go

  • Exalted with the Dreamweavers: the Val'sharah storyline (to about Honored), then Val'sharah world quests and the Dreamweavers emissary (four of its world quests, 1,500 reputation each time it comes up) · about 8 h over 3 weeks
  • 10,000 Dreamweavers reputation past Exalted for each cache (same sources) · about 4 h over 12 days

In all: about 12 h of play, spread over 3 weeks, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Sylvia Hartshorn, Lorlathil
Val'sharah · 54.6, 73.2
/way Val'sharah 54.6 73.2
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 1.6 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Azsuna*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 1.6 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Azsuna*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

One roll per cache, and each cache costs another 10,000 reputation, so there is no lockout, only the time to refill the bar; about 9 caches are expected at 11.59%.

The quest: the wiki's page for Supplies From the Dreamweavers (edited 2026) has it ready to hand in to Sylvia Hartshorn each time the paragon bar is filled, for a Dreamweaver Cache; Wowhead's guide names it as quest 46747. The cache also holds gold (600 to 800 by the wiki, about 800 by Wowhead's guide), 500 to 1,000 Order Resources and sometimes a Curious Coin. The coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip for Sylvia Hartshorn (npc 106901, Dreamweaver Emissary: 54.6, 73.2 in Val'sharah); the wiki gives none.

Wowhead's count for this cache is the highest of the Legion paragon mounts this guide has read (2.98% for the Court of Farondis, 4.68% for the Valarjar, 7.29% for the Highmountain Tribe), and it is not an effect of a later change alone: a 2021 commenter already quotes 'a 12% drop rate' from Wowhead, after some 40 caches without the mount. Comments of 2021 say the chances of the older paragon caches were raised in patch 9.1.5 and link a Wowhead news post, 'Older Paragon Caches Drop Rates Changes with Patch 9.1.5 - Reportedly Higher Drop' (not opened). Several of them got this mount from the first cache, as did commenters of 2024, while a 2026 reply opened seven Legion caches without a mount. So the true chance today may be above or below the pooled figure.

Other reputation (Wowhead's guide):

  • a Dreamweaver Insignia from treasure chests (250)
  • the Kirin Tor emissary's Greater Insignia for a chosen faction (1,500)
  • 50% more from world quests during the World Quest bonus event

Comments of 2021 bought reputation tokens with Timewalking Badges for this; whether such tokens still count towards paragon reputation could not be settled for the Valarjar Stormwing. Whether this reputation counts for the whole warband was not checked; the Cloudwing Hippogryph's notes take Legion's bars as one per character.

During Legion Remix the mount was also sold by Hemet Nesingwary XVII for 20,000 Bronze (wiki; Wowhead still lists him); that has ended. The wiki has the item at level 45 with Apprentice Riding, a flying mount since patch 9.0.1 (a ground mount before); it binds when picked up.

The guide linked dates from 2016 and was last changed in 2025; it carries a note that it describes the original Legion and not the Remix, and its list of where the reputation comes from stands.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
