- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight

Notes and sources
Horde only: the Zandalari Empire is a Horde reputation. Two things the journal does not say: an achievement and the price.
The achievement: Wowhead's tooltip for the reins carries 'Required achievement: Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part Two' beside 'Requires Zandalari Empire - Exalted', the same line this guide found on the Alliance mounts added with it in patch 8.2 (the Stormsong Coastwatcher and the Proudmoore Sea Scout). The achievement stopped being needed for flying long ago, and whether the vendor still enforces it could not be established; it is listed among the requirements as one that an account which flew in Battle for Azeroth already has. The requirements given for the two other Horde mounts of that patch, the Captured Swampstalker and the Voldunai Dunescraper, do not include it; their tooltips are worth a second look.
The price: 90,000 is the list price in every source read, but since only an Exalted character can buy, what is paid is probably 72,000; not checked in the game.
The wiki's page for the reins (edited 2025) dates them to patch 8.0.1; Wowhead's news of 2019 files them under the 'gold-sink reputation mounts' of Rise of Azshara (8.2). The wiki's page for Natal'hakata does not list the reins among her goods, only the Cobalt Pterrordax (12,500); Wowhead's reputation guide lists both at Exalted.
Where: she stands inside the Great Seal, where Wowhead's tooltip has her around 66.6, 71.6 on the Great Seal's own map (she moves a few steps). The place given above is the same spot on the Zuldazar map as for the Cobalt Pterrordax, and Wowhead's guide gives 58.2, 44.4 there.
Blizzard has said that Battle for Azeroth reputations, this one included, become Warband-wide in patch 12.1.5 (Blizzard Watch, 2026), which Blizzard Watch dates to 13 October 2026. Until then Exalted is needed on the buying character, and how standings on several characters will be combined had not been said. The time to Exalted is a rough estimate.
Wowhead's guide dates from Battle for Azeroth, so its level 120 is the level cap of that time; the item now asks for level 10 (wiki). The guide's seven comments were not read.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
