How to get it

Reward of the achievement Glory of the Argus Raider: earn the eleven boss achievements of Antorus, the Burning Throne, one for each of its eleven bosses, on Normal difficulty or higher. Progress is kept for the whole account, and the mount comes with the last of the eleven.

Inside Antorus, the Burning Throne, a raid (Normal or higher)

Time there about 2 h a visit

Guide Wowhead: Glory of the Argus Raider Achievement Guide

Before you go

  • Argus campaign far enough for the Vindicaar to reach the Antoran Wastes: the Broken Shore assault, The Hand of Fate from Dalaran and the Krokuun chapter, The Assault Begins, as far as The Burning Heart, whose objective is to use the Navigation Console to travel to the Antoran Wastes · about 3 h
  • Two players in the raid at the same moment. Stardust Crusaders (Argus the Unmaker) asks for 20 Motes of Titanic Power to be collected within 5 seconds, and the motes exist only in the spirit realm: in the last phase Argus kills everyone, one player walks into the Gift of the Life-Binder tree to come back to life and holds Argus, and the other stays behind as a spirit and runs through the motes. Motes appear when Reorigination Modules are left to burst by themselves, so the two wait while modules pile up; then the spirit revives at the tree and Argus is killed

In all: about 3 h of play, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Antorus, the Burning Throne entrance
Antoran Wastes · 54.7, 62.8
/way Antoran Wastes 54.7 62.8
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 6.1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Azsuna*
  2. Use the Lightforged Beacon on Krasus' Landing in Dalaran to teleport to the Vindicaar*
  3. Fly to the Navigation Console to traverse Argus
  4. Ride the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 6.1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Azsuna*
  2. Use the Lightforged Beacon on Krasus' Landing in Dalaran to teleport to the Vindicaar*
  3. Fly to the Navigation Console to traverse Argus
  4. Ride the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Achievement 11987, with account-wide progress (Wowhead), so other characters can take other bosses (wow.gg). A boss killed without its achievement is gone for the week on that difficulty, and Normal, Heroic and Mythic lock separately (as for the Antoran Charhound). The wiki's pages for ten of the eleven read 'on Normal difficulty or higher', and its page for This is the War Room! names none; Raid Finder is below Normal.

The eleven by boss, from Wowhead's achievement guide (last updated 2021) and the wiki's wording:

  • Garothi Worldbreaker, Worm-monger: 16 Blightscale Worms caught under its Decimation before it dies
  • Felhounds of Sargeras, Hounds Good To Me: each hound brought to pools of its own colour until both carry 5 stacks of Fel Imbuement; the stacks are lost when the hounds come near each other
  • Antoran High Command, This is the War Room!: no more than three Felshield Emitters placed from the pod
  • Portal Keeper Hasabel, Portal Combat: one player under all three platform effects at once (Everburning Flames, Caustic Slime and Cloying Shadows) opens the chaotic rift; only before the boss reaches 90% health
  • Eonar, Spheres of Influence: the five Orbs of Life around the sanctuary, each soon after the last; can be done after the encounter
  • Imonar the Soulhunter, Hard to Kill: every trap on the bridge set off in both intermissions
  • Kin'garoth, The World Revolves Around Me: nine Diabolic Bombs active at the kill
  • Varimathras, Together We Stand: killed without Alone in the Darkness going off
  • the Coven of Shivarra, Remember the Titans: at least one add of each of the four Torments alive at the kill, about six minutes' wait
  • Aggramar, Don't Sweat the Technique: an Ember of Taeshalach hit twice by his whole Taeshalach Technique within one phase turns into a Manifestation, which is then killed; the ember is kept under crowd control meanwhile
  • Argus the Unmaker, Stardust Crusaders

The player count of two is what the Argus achievement takes by its mechanics. Four others are described for more than one player in the guide, without a mechanic that was shown to demand it:

  • Together We Stand: Alone in the Darkness hits any player who is not within 8 yards of a second player (wiki, guide)
  • Hounds Good To Me: the guide has two tanks hold the hounds apart
  • Portal Combat: the guide has a second player carry the Everburning Flames to the green platform
  • Remember the Titans: the guide wants a second player to hold one Mother away from the other

A 2024 Wowhead commenter reports earning all ten apart from Stardust Crusaders as a single Brewmaster monk, with the Black Ox Statue holding the second hound and the second Mother and with Varimathras killed within about ten seconds. A 2022 reply names a hunter's pet for the hounds; wow.gg claims a pet or a warrior's banner counts for Together We Stand, which nothing else read says.

Stardust Crusaders, from the comments:

  • the wait in the last phase ran from 17 minutes to about an hour for pairs, with Argus enraged and the living player healing through it
  • the motes vanish about 10 seconds after they appear (2025)
  • the Instance Achievement Tracker addon miscounts and showed 10/20 when the 20 were in (2024), so players watch Khaz'goroth's energy instead
  • the achievement shows only when Argus dies

The entrance is from the game's own table; no flying on Argus. The way there, as for the Antoran Charhound: the Lightforged Beacon at Krasus' Landing in Dalaran to the Vindicaar, the Navigation Console to the Antoran Wastes, then down to the fel river and south along the canyon. wow.gg says to keep away from the main gate and go in by a crack below the artillery platform beside the Felfire Armory.

The time on the spot is an estimate for one clear with every achievement; no source gives one. Whether the Legion Remix vendor that Wowhead lists for the Antoran Charhound ever sold this mount was not looked into.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
