Look it up on WowheadHow to get it
Three rare elite panthara on Argus drop the Fel-Spotted Egg: Naroua in Krokuun, Sabuul in Eredath and Varga in the Antoran Wastes. Five days after it is looted the egg becomes a Cracked Fel-Spotted Egg, which may hold this mount, one of three other mana rays, a pet or a worthless yolk. One visit is a round of the three rares, each lootable once a day.

Notes and sources
A round gives 1.2 eggs on average and about one egg in 14 holds this mount, so around 12 daily rounds are expected, and each egg pays out five days after it drops. The 15 minutes for a round is an estimate. The place given above and the campaign figure match the Darkspore Mana Ray, which comes from the same egg.
Where the rares stand (a 2024 Wowhead comment):
- Naroua, Krokuun 70.5, 33.7
- Sabuul, Eredath 44.2, 49.8
- Varga, Antoran Wastes 64.3, 48.2
The same comment lists Kaara the Pale in Eredath (38.7, 55.8) as a rumoured source only; Wowhead's loot table shows eggs from the other three, and the wiki names the same three. Eredath was called Mac'Aree until patch 9.1.5. Argus has no flying.
The once-a-day limit on each rare is from a 2022 Wowhead comment. The 2024 comment also says the egg is easier to get on days when a rare is a world quest target; how often the rares are up otherwise was not established, so a round can come up short.
Cracked egg contents (wiki):
- Aged Yolk 30%
- Docile Skyfin 21%
- Fel-Afflicted Skyfin 21%
- 7% each for the Felglow, Darkspore, Vibrant and Scintillating Mana Ray
Wowhead comments of 2021 say an egg never gives a mount that is already known, which would raise the chance for a collector who has some of the other three; not confirmed.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
