Notes and sources
The journal and the mount's own wiki page leave out the reputation. The wiki's page for Zjolnir states it ('Only trolls can buy from Zjolnir by default; other characters must be exalted with the Darkspear Trolls') and quotes his refusal to anyone else. Method's and wow.gg's guides say the same, and so do the comments on his Wowhead page, whose vendor list has this mount among his six.
Whether a Zandalari troll counts as a troll for him was not established: no source read mentions it. A 2023 comment says he offered an Exalted dracthyr nothing in patch 10.1 and that this was fixed by 10.1.5; a 2026 reply claims a trial troll character unlocks the raptors, which nothing else confirms.
He sells the Swift Blue and Swift Olive Raptors for 10 gold and the Emerald, Turquoise and Violet Raptors for 1 gold on the same terms, so the one reputation opens all six. An Exalted buyer pays 8 gold (Wowhead comments).
Zjolnir's coordinates by source:
- Wowhead's tooltip (NPC 7952): 55.2, 75.4, as read for the Violet Raptor and not asked again
- Method: 55.10, 75.58
- wow.gg: 55.1, 75.6 (wow.gg misspells him 'Zjolnga')
Method puts Champion Uru'zin at 50.27, 58.36 in Orgrimmar, the Shattrath portal at 57.48, 91.59 and The Botanica at 74.18, 57.86 in Netherstorm. The tabard is also sold by Samamba at the Sunreaver Pavilion of the Argent Tournament (wiki). The wiki's Championing page says a capital's tabard works in dungeons of any level and that level 70 Burning Crusade dungeons give capital reputation through Exalted.
The mount has asked for level 17 and Apprentice Riding since patch 9.0.1 (wiki).
Wowhead's guide is a player's list (updated 2024) that names this mount under Zjolnir and gives the rule of Exalted or of the race, nothing more.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
